PROCESS DETAILS

OUR PROCESS AT-A-GLANCE

Overall our goal is to make the entire process an efficient, painless and even fun experience for you and your team. Here are some process highlights:

  • We’ll meet with you to discuss your business objectives and the audience you’re interested in targeting. From there, we’ll develop a podcast strategy along with show concepts (and sample episodes) that can help you meet your goals.

  • We’ll identify and enlist the perfect host and guests (“BigHeads”) and take care of all the heavy-lifting, including all the time-consuming, yet necessary, details and logistics such as scheduling, equipment needs, developing interview questions, etc.

  • We’ll record the episodes (typically this is done virtually via a user-friendly platform) and have them professionally edited. We even provide you with clips (snacks) from the episodes which can be used in a variety of ways.

  • Private shows can be hosted/released on our secure online platform. For internal shows, we can also provide you with audio/video files of the episodes if you’d rather release them on an company plaform you use for internal communications. And for public-facing shows, we can help you release the shows across all the popular listening platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, etc.).

  • We’ll meticulously analyze every episode of your show to extract valuable insights, ideas, and meaningful takeaways.

  • We provide you with strategies for repurposing and amplifying the content to maximize lifespan, engagement and reach (including unexpected and surprising ones).

And if you’re wondering how and where we leverage AI across the process, well the simple answer is - EVERYWHERE!

ENLISTING GUESTS (BIGHEADS)

Enlisting the right “guests” for your show is CRUCIAL, since they will provide the knowledge, insight, information and energy your audience will expect.

Sometimes shows will feature leaders and employees from your company, while other shows will require bringing on outside thought-leaders and experts.

The good news is - you can leave guest recruiting to us! Once the podcast concept is finalizes, we will choose the perfect guests from our vast expert network.

RELEASING YOUR SHOW

Whether you choose to do a public-facing show or a private/internal one, we can help. For private shows, there are a few options. Some client partners use an existing internal platform, while we create private YouTube channels for others (especially for video podcasts). And others use our secure platform that only pre-approved listeners can access and is designed to provide a seamless listener experience and drive engagement among your audience. It even has a comments section to give your audience the ability to share their thoughts, insights and ideas about each episode.

PODCAST CONSULTING

Since many of you ALREADY HAVE a PODCAST strategy, team and/or show in place...we’re always available to do some "consulting" (hourly, weekly, project-based, whatever) if you need help with things like:

  • Auditing your existing show since it never hurts to have an extra pair of “ears” to provide some input and recommendations.

  • Helping to define your overall podcast strategy based on the audience you’re trying to reach.

  • Creating new show ideas - from show concepts...to names…to episode ideas…to formats (limited-run approaches, private shows, etc.).

  • Introducing you to AI tools that you can use across the podcasting process.

  • Identifying unique and impactful podcast opportunities across departments (for example, you might not be considering using podcasts for things like talent acquisition or even new hire onboarding…but you could).

  • Helping you craft interview questions that ignite meaningful and impactful conversations.

  • Identifying the right internal (or external) “talent” to HOST your shows.

  • Providing you with GUEST recruiting (and prep) strategies.

  • Introducing you to ways to ANALYZE and AMPLIFY every episode to extract insights, ideas and takeaways…as well as repurpose the content to maximize lifespan, engagement and reach.

  • Helping with areas that can seem a bit daunting like, distribution, promotion, and production (platforms to use, show frequency/length, audio vs. video, music licensing, editing tips, etc.).

And the list goes on........
